Bigfoot Community Outreach Program
In an effort to bring joy and cheer to orphaned children during Christmas, Bigfoot Asia Pacific Foundation launched the "Bigfoot Plays Santa" program. Every year, Bigfoot Foundation allocates funds for the program which involves the distribution of Bigfoot Santa Bags to the children with each bag containing personalized gifts, such as school bags and supplies, shoes, toys, among other items; holding of simultaneous Christmas parties; and the distribution of funds for infrastructure and other site improvements to specific orphanages. Started in 2006, over 20 orphanages has since benefited from the program with over 1,000 children per year.
Among the beneficiaries of the program are: Bantay Bata 163; Missionaries of Charity in Barangay Pasil, Cebu City; Batang Pinangga Foundation in Carmen, Cebu; Children’s Help and Assistance Foundation in Talisay City; Franciscan Children’s Home in barangay Guadalupe, Cebu City; Christ for Asia Center in barangay Guadalupe; David Livingstone Missionary Foundation in Liloan, Cebu; Don Bosco Boys Town in Liloan, Cebu; Free Will Baptist Children’s Home in barangay Pardo, Cebu City; Local Superior of the Picole (Little Servants of Christ the King) in barangay Talamban, Cebu City; Our Lady of Divine Grace Foundation in Sibonga, Cebu; Our Lady of Divine Providence in Talisay City; SOS Children’s Village in barangay Talamban, Cebu City; United for Social Welfare Assist in Danao City; Kapwa Ko, Mahal Ko Foundation Inc.; Albert Schweitzer Familienwerk Foundation Inc. in Cordova, Cebu; CFIC Brothers Foundation Inc. in Liloan, Cebu and Sto. Nino Children’s Home Foundation Inc. in Sibonga, Cebu.
